Spring Community Yard Sale

  • The Spring 2024 Community Yard Sale date is Saturday, May 4, 2024.
  • All residents are invited to display items for sale in their driveway from 8am to 1pm.
  • REMINDER: Advertisement are not allowed to be affixed to Stop or Street signs in the Lake Terrapin Neighborhood.
  • REMINDER: This event brings shoppers into our neighborhood, increasing the amount of traffic and street parking. Residents, pedestrians, and children should be mindful of this increased traffic during the entire day.

Fall Community Yard Sale

  • The Fall 2024 Community Yard Sale date is Saturday, October 5, 2024.
  • All residents are invited to display items for sale in their driveway from 8am to 1pm.
  • REMINDER: Advertisement are not allowed to be affixed to Stop or Street signs in the Lake Terrapin Neighborhood.
  • REMINDER: This event brings shoppers into our neighborhood, increasing the amount of traffic and street parking. Residents, pedestrians, and children should be mindful of this increased traffic during the entire day.

Residents of Lake Terrapin are also permitted to host their own yard sale on their property at any time throughout the year. A few considerations:

  • Do not attach Yard Sale signs to street signs, stop signs, and light poles.
  • Ask permission of the resident before you place a Yard Sale sign in their yard. This includes in the grass of street corners. Remove any Yard Sale signs at the end of the day.
  • Manage the street parking around your residence to minimize the impact to your neighbors.
  • All items set outside for sale must be moved indoors at the end of the day and cannot be left in the driveway/yard.
